EBSU Sociology and Anthropology Students Warned Over Indecent Dressing
Students of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Ebonyi State University, have been warned to take the department’s dress code seriously.
The warning was shared in the students’ group by Idam Christian, following concerns about the increasing rate of indecent dressing among some students.
According to the message, several notices and reminders have already been given, but some students are still not complying with the approved dress code.
Students were reminded that the official dress code remains:
Sky-blue shirt and black trousers.
The warning particularly advised students to dress responsibly and maintain the respect expected of university students while attending lectures.
It was also stated that students who fail to follow the dress code may be sent out of class and could be required to appear before the Head of Department or the Dean.
Students of the department are therefore encouraged to avoid unnecessary embarrassment by dressing properly before coming to class.
The message is simple: respect the department’s dress code, dress decently, and come to class prepared to learn.
