A fresher recently messaged Studentsdash to ask for the school fees of his dream course at EBSU.
After sending him the breakdown, we expected something like:
“Okay, thank you.”
Instead…
The next message was:
“It’s expensive oo.” 😭
We told him the amount was actually last session’s fee and could even change.
Omo, that’s when the brother completely gave up.
He replied:
“That money can pay UNICAL school fees three times.” 😂💔
At that point, all we could say was…
“Welcome to higher institution.” 😭😂
To be fair, every university has different school fees depending on the course, faculty, and level. Some programmes naturally cost more because of practicals, laboratory work, equipment, accreditation, and other academic requirements.
Still… the shock on this brother’s face deserves its own scholarship. 😂
The funniest part?
After all the complaining, he ended the conversation with:
“It’s fine… Man must do it.” 😂👏
That’s the Nigerian student spirit.

Cry a little.
Then somehow… find the money. 😭😂
