EBSU Announces Cut-Off Marks for 7 New Programmes for 2026/2027 Admission
Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has announced the official JAMB cut-off marks for seven newly approved programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. According to the announcement, the National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the new programmes for EBSU, and qualified candidates can begin seeking admission into them from the current 2026/2027 admission year. The Vice-Chancellor of Ebonyi State University has also approved the JAMB cut-off mark required for each programme. EBSU New Programmes and Cut-Off Marks Community Health – 170 Environmental Health Science – 170 Health Information Management – 170 Optometry – 210 Physiotherapy – 210 Public Health – 170 Radiology/Radiation Science – 170 Candidates who meet the required cut-off mark for their preferred programme may apply for supplementary admission, provided they also meet the O’Level requirements. O’Level Requirements Candidates seeking admission into any of the seven new programmes must have credit passes in: English Language Mathematics Biology Chemistry Physics According to the announcement, these credits or their equivalents must be obtained in one sitting. The requirements are similar to those of other professional science programmes at EBSU, including Medicine and Surgery, Medical Laboratory Science and Nursing Science. How to Apply Interested and qualified candidates are advised to visit the EBSU Admissions Portal and register for supplementary admission into any of the newly approved programmes. Before changing your course or applying, make sure you meet both the JAMB cut-off mark and the required O’Level subject combination for the programme you want. Important Notice for Direct Entry Candidates The newly announced admissions are NOT open to Direct Entry candidates. This means the current supplementary admission opportunity into these seven programmes is for eligible UTME candidates.
