EBSU Departmental Cut-Off Marks 2026/2027 for All Courses

Official EBSU Cut-Off Mark for All Courses 2026/2027 Academic Session (Updated)

The management of Ebonyi State University has officially released the approved cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 admission exercise.

This update contains both the institutional cut-off mark and the departmental cut-off marks for all faculties.

Candidates are advised to carefully check their preferred course requirements before proceeding with the Post-UTME application.


Institutional Cut-Off Mark

The general cut-off mark for admission into Ebonyi State University for the 2026/2027 academic session is:

  • 150

All candidates who scored 150 and above in the UTME are eligible to apply for the Post-UTME screening exercise.

Important Notice to Candidates

Candidates are strongly advised to note the following:

  • Meeting the cut-off mark does not automatically guarantee admission.

  • Admission is based on merit, availability of spaces, and performance in screening.

  • Candidates must ensure their O’Level results are correctly uploaded on both JAMB CAPS and the EBSU portal.

  • Any inconsistency in names or documents may lead to disqualification.

  • Admission offers must be accepted on JAMB CAPS within two weeks or it may be withdrawn.


EBSU Post-UTME Reminder

Candidates who chose Ebonyi State University or are willing to change to EBSU must:

  • Score 150 and above

  • Pay ₦2,000 Post-UTME screening fee

  • Complete online registration on the EBSU portal

EBSU 2026/2027 Post-UTME & Direct Entry Screening Form Now Available

The management of Ebonyi State University has announced the commencement of the 2026/2027 Post-UTME Application/Screening Exercise for UTME and Direct Entry candidates.This is to inform the general public and all candidates who chose Ebonyi State University as first choice and those willing to change to EBSU, and scored 150 and above in the 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), to visit the school portal and complete their Post-UTME registration with full details of their credentials.The application period starts on 22nd May, 2026 and ends on 22nd June, 2026.Candidates are expected to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 only for the Post-UTME screening exercise.Important Information for CandidatesApplicants are to note the following:Candidates awaiting NABTEB O’Level, WAEC (May/June), and NECO (June/July) 2026 results are eligible to apply.Inconsistency in names is not acceptable and may lead to disqualification. Names on O’Level results, JAMB results, and other documents must be the same.Candidates are not required to appear for physical screening.Admission status will be communicated through the EBSU portal.Candidates must upload their O’Level results on both the EBSU portal and JAMB CAPS before they can be considered for admission.Any admission offered must be accepted on JAMB CAPS within two (2) weeks, otherwise it may be withdrawn.Direct Entry CandidatesAll Direct Entry candidates who chose EBSU are also required to undergo online screening.
