🔹 About the Programmes

AE-FUNAI’s Centre for Educational Services (CES) offers two major foundation programmes designed to prepare candidates for university admission:

➤ Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB)

JUPEB is a 10-month intensive coaching programme that leads to Direct Entry admission into 200 level in AE-FUNAI or any of the 90+ partner universities in Nigeria and abroad. It’s your express route to leap over JAMB and land right in 200-level.

✅ Candidates applying to Law, Medicine and Surgery, and Nursing through JUPEB must pass through a competitive admission process before gaining 200-level admission.

➤ Pre-Degree Programme

This programme prepares candidates for 100-level admission into degree programmes across AE-FUNAI faculties (excluding Medicine and Surgery). It runs for two semesters, roughly 10 months.

📝 Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for either programme, candidates must:

  • Have at least five (5) O’level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
  • Candidates applying for Medicine, Nursing, or Law must have all required credits in one sitting only.

💳 Application Fee

The application form costs Fifteen Thousand Naira (₦15,000) only.

💡 How to Apply

  1. Visit the AE-FUNAI official website: www.funai.edu.ng
  2. At the top, click on MENU or QUICKLINKS.
  3. Select ADMISSIONS → Click on 2025/2026 Pre-Degree & JUPEB Registration.
  4. Generate your Application Invoice and RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference).
  5. Make payment online via card or at any bank branch.
  6. Return to the portal and fill the Application Form.
  7. Upload a recent (within 3 months) passport photo with a white background.
  8. Submit the form and print two color copies of your application.

You’ll receive confirmation via email and SMS. Be sure to use a valid email and working phone number.

📌 General Information

  • Only applicants who receive an email invitation and admission letter from the Director should report to AE-FUNAI CES for registration and screening.
  • Incorrect data or fake credentials will lead to automatic disqualification.
  • No third-party agents are authorized to sell or process forms. Application is strictly online.
