Imo State University (IMSU) in Owerri is starting the registration for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise on July 22nd, 2025. Here’s everything you need to know.
Who Can Apply
- To have chosen Imo State University, Owerri as your first choice in JAMB.
- To have scored at least 150 in the JAMB UTME.
- If you didn’t choose IMSU initially, you can still apply if you change your first choice to IMSU at a JAMB CBT center before the application closes.
- For Direct Entry candidates: OND/HND/First Degree, ‘A’ Level, or equivalent in relevant subjects is required.
How to Apply
- Visit the IMSU website.
- Click on the 2025/2026 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Application.
- Enter your JAMB registration number to check eligibility.
- If eligible, make a payment of N2,000 and complete the form.
- Print the receipt and return to the portal after 24 hours to continue.
- Use IMSU Microfinance Bank for convenience.
- Bring the acknowledgement slip to the screening venue.
Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry applicants should also send transcripts and results to the Registrar, Imo State University, Owerri.
Aptitude Test
The date and time for the aptitude test will be announced later.
