AFIT Cut-Off Mark For Admission 2024/2025
All candidates who are interested in studying at this institution through the UTME mode must ensure that they wrote the JAMB Examinations and achieved a minimum score of 160 for the ND courses and 200 for the degree courses.

Air Force Institute of Technology Admission Requirements For 2024/2025
These are the requirements you need to meet to study at AFIT. As you can see below, the requirements have been sectioned by UTME and Direct Entry. The UTME Entry requirements are for candidates who want to use their JAMB result for admission into the first year of study.
The direct entry requirements are for candidates who have previous educational qualifications and want to use these certificates to gain admission. Check the requirements for your admission mode and ensure you meet them.
UTME Admission Requirements
- Candidates are required to have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), or equivalent. The subjects must include English Language and Mathematics, and other subjects required for the chosen course.
- Candidates must sit for and obtain the required UTME score in subjects related to the course of choice.
- Candidates must choose AFIT as their first choice institution during the UTME registration.
- Candidates must meet the cut-off marks specified by AFIT for different programs. These cut-off marks vary depending on the course of study.
- Candidates must participate in the post-UTME screening exercise conducted by AFIT.
Direct Entry Admission Requirements
- Candidates must possess a minimum of Upper Credit in National Diploma (ND) or other relevant qualifications in their chosen field of study.
- Candidates must have two (2) A-level passes or equivalent in subjects relevant to the intended course of study.
- Candidates must have obtained at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO, which must include English Language, Mathematics, and other subjects relevant to the course.
- Candidates must meet the specific entry requirements for the course they wish to apply for.
